DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF TIME
With its reference to Anthony Powell’s novel cycle and the painting by Nicolas Poussin the title provides a context for these paintings. They develop my interest concerning figures in space, the relationship between the two and , to a degree, how this has been explored to in Western art.
LIFE RANGER
Liferanger series in an on-going project that seeks to highlight the value of sketchbook drawings by creating more permanant archival objects. The drawing motivation stays the same. I use sketchbooks to measure and record.
